Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I have never heard that there was a problem with zinc. Mixing in insecticide with Pivot Bio is a no go. Although, we did put insecticide in with 10-34-0 then applied Pivot Bio injecting into the 10-34-0 and insecticide mixture. I asked about that and they were not concerned.
Pivot Bio has a list of things that they do not recommend being combined with Pivot Bio.
We used 10-34-0 and zinc on all of our in furrow starter this year and injected Pivot Bio with the Dosatron. We did side by sides but with the extremely dry weather, (like 0-20 bushel yields) we'll never know for sure if it worked or not. But I'm going to use it until I find out otherwise.
Add.....After thinking about my reply on zinc. I think I was asked what form my zinc was. I think chelated zinc is ok. But there is another form of zinc that may not be ok. Ask the company on that.
