Correct but its their way to secure bu on the farmers back. They have nothing to lose where with these contracts one will assume you have bu sold then your knocked out with zero on the contract. Its a bigger carrot on a stick vs a locked in forward contract sale. Did them for years but never again. Ask Angie what she thinks but to each his own.
