GK Technology Inc Ag Data Mapping Solution can do exactly what you want to do. You can also use satellite and aerial imagery, topography from RTK or Lidar, or any other correlating layers you want to create management zones. Zones are only as good as the layers you put into them. Make sure you spend the time to clean up the yield data. We offer tutorials on using Yield Editor to clean up your yield data as well as how we create zones in house. You can do it your way however.

Many of our users use variable yield goals per zones for both zones and grids. I feel that without using them, you are doing kind of precision ag. Not all multi colored VR mas are created equally. You also have to option to interpolate your output maps so fertilizer rates change by a few pounds vs most the use hard breaks. Your yield does not have hard breaks, so why should your fertilizer and seed.
