If it still was titled as "Inbox" then you can create a new folder.
Open outlook, click on "Local Folders" and then open "File", "Folder", "New".
Give it the name "Inbox" (Spelled that way, caps and all) and tell it to save it under "Local folders"
It won't retrieve any lost e-mails but it should put you back on track for receiving new ones.
