East Central South Dakota | Bolt on bogies on red quads are ‘22 or ‘23 model year. Rowtracs a little earlier IIRC. Don’t know if there’s going to be a ton of hours yet.
In my experience, I road a lot with doing custom striptilling. I have a 2018 620 quad with 31xx hours so far. Got it new. Had other older quads before. Once the tracks get shiny and hard where the idlers/bogies run your good to go. It’s nothing to road 40+ miles at full speed. Run full synthetic oil in bogies/idlers and change every year. Haven’t touched any seals yet on this tractor. The newer seal design has been very good.
I am glad they went to bolt on bogies, but honestly haven’t had issues really with rubber failing so not a huge game changer for me yet.
Edit: keeping tracks aligned helps a lot. I can get out and check drive lugs and they will be cool after roading. I also think 36” tracks are better for longevity.
