Cheap Harbor Freight Pump less than $100, fills drone tank in a minute or so.
They switched from a swiveling gas nozzle to a cheap end on a garden hose and rigged up a switch to turn pump on and off.
2 inch cam lock hooked to totes for supply to the pump.
Generators on the front of a 40 foot gooseneck flatbed trailer followed by totes and a tool box. They say the generator is still too close and too loud! Need to rig up a muffler for the muffler.
They think an observation deck may be added for next year over the totes.
You need to take a drive over here and look @ what my son built.for a tender trailer, before you do any upgrades.
40 foot goose neck with 40 foot deck on top. Has 25 foot x 5.5 foot section that folds up with Hyd cylinders to create a 14 ft x 25 deck on the front 25 ft of the 40 foot top deck. Has Hyd cylinders along the side of the trailer to level and stabilize the trailer Has a hyd scissor lift on the goose neck that raise up level with the top deck. Charges and batteries are housed in what used to contain a stand by generator on the scissor lift. Floor of the top deck is perforated bin floor. One person can fly two drones, change batteries and fill drones by themself on this trailer.
Bottom of trailer has 24 KW diesel generator , two 240 gal cone bottom tanks, 1000 gal clean water tank, two 1/2 hp electric Pacer pumps. One pump is for filling cones, other is for filling drones and mixing chemicals in cone bottoms. |
