I just bought a 2500w 12v inverter to put in the old diesel pickup for similar light duty. Will report back as soon as i burn up the alternator or burn down the pickup. Presumeably both will happen at the same time as i am electrocuted.
How well does that work at running a battery charger? (Like the dewalt power tool charger mentioned in the OP)
