Maybe it is time to upgrade to night vision scope? I am considering this as well, what is the most effective style or model?
Get a red spotlight that mounts over the scope. Can easily see deer 200 yards at midnight, and they don't run from it. a lot cheaper than a night vision scope.
I bought this one 2 years ago and it's been great.
