In my experience, expecting anything rational from RMA/FSA is irrational. Good luck. We have very good luck with planting corn late here and have had no claims but they insist on charging us the same and reducing coverage levels vs. our early corn for which we often have claims and usually very big claims as we grow great early corn or 15 bushel early corn. They still want to use 1970 planting dates.
