Not in defense of joe, but the drought was in fact not real last year for the most part east of the Dakota's. Guys were using the 'toast' word when they should have been using 'mildly dry early in the season and I'm in an area that usually gets twice the amount of rain that my crops need so I'll probably be just fine and raise 200+ bushel corn' phrase.
