Southeast WI | If it happened to you it's pretty likely it's happened a lot elsewhere. Polaris is a nice driving machine, always has been but when we had them 20+ years ago there's always been "problems". Reliability was an option box Polaris never checked and I don't know why they've never figured that out for a product that is designed to be used.
Edit to add quick Google search shows a history of problems with broken dipsticks and Polaris machines.
