Southwestern Ontario | Our 9650 came with the brown box that they were using for yield and moisture. I read about the updating of the moisture sensor to version 7.00D but the brown box didn't have a key card so I went ahead and plugged the 2600 display in anyways just to try it.
When I booted up the display right away it showed "update application : moisture sensor : 7.01B"
I went ahead and did the update and so far it seems to work as I can see everything in the original greenstar display inside the 2600 and I can manually "empty moisture sensor" and can hear it spinning. But I won't know if it worked till we start bean harvest later this year. Is there another way to tell that the moisture sensor should work or with the 2600 or a way to find what software version it is indeed on? Or does it sound like the 2600 display should work fine with it now since that software version is actually higher? | |
