A strong residual program, cereal rye cover crop, field edge spraying, cooperative weather, and getting out of the truck when you see a rogue sticking above the beans, has worked pretty well for me.

Cereal rye is grossly underrated as a management practice. But then again it doesnt come with an easy button or in a jug so most wont do it.
