South central MN | How fast are you running your corn head? Mph? I traded corn GTs last year for one previously on a similiar combine and gearing ended up being wrong, it was suppose to be 34 tooth on the back but mine is only a 32 so it wasn’t running fast enough. So I was wondering if I sped it up to what it’s suppose to be ran at it would help. With current gear head only runs at 633 rpm’s. Correct gearing would get me to 673. Not sure how much of a difference it will make. We run the combine right at 4.3-4.5 mph. | |
