NE SD
I've patched in 08's on the 27th and they took a frost to finish them, but they did ripen. I filled in a 10 acre pothole that dried out on the 20th with 1.1's this year, and they're an inch tall already. Ample moisture, tons of heat and planted at an inch deep. I've also seen a guy plant on the 4th before, but what they were and if they made it are questions I can't answer.

I'd say if it isn't a quarter or two of them, you could try and see. But it's going to take luck.
