north central Iowa, Hampton | Had a friend who purchased a new compact utility tractor and towed a 3 section PTO finish mower behind. He also usd the tractor for other odd pto jobs.
Mower was, I think, something like 15 or 18 feet. Still behind, but wide enough to be more “beside.” Turf tires, heat and AC on the tractor. Gauge wheels all over the mower.
With 10 acres to do, that might cut your total time. Probably still need a small trim mower—or a tank of roundup…
Seems like a loader would likely be front heavy and tear up wet grass.
