I bought some LL sweet corn a couple of years ago when i couldn't get the RR variety i wanted.  What i do, is take out the field corn of 4 or 5 rows and put the sweet corn in then plant.  When it's all gone kick the ccs back on and never stop.  I kicked the ccs back on a bit early and so i have field corn and LL corn mix for a little way.  When i posted sprayed that spot i did not leave a buffer so i figured the RU would get the LL sweetcorn in that spot, but it didn't.  I spot sprayed a couple of sweet corn plants with RU and those plants are dying.  Head scratching to say the least.  Any ideas?  

The 2023 solution will be back to RR sweet corn, but thought this puzzling ordeal was worth asking about.
