| There was a PIP for the 80 & 90 series flagship. IIRC, there were 3 or 4 upgrades on it. The originals were the size of a 1" bolt . Newest update was more like a 2" bolt where the spine nut screwed on. We had a '13 7230 that broke the spindle right at the nut. CIH would cover the replacement because our combine was a 70 series, would have it it had been a 80 or 90 series. New single was over $1,100 3 years ago. We replaced both sides, one in the mud in the field & the other in the shop. Lot easier to replace in the sho0 | |
