I have a 1770 24 row that we only use for seed corn. It is ground drive from the wing wheels. We want to take off the markers to better work around pivots. Will the lack of weight from the markers cause any adverse effects when driving the the transmission? Will it cause more slippage? We are all conventional till on the seed corn. Thanks for any input.
