| Many people that run a Tier IV Steiger(red or blue) for the first time don't pay attention to how the remotes at the back of the tractor are laid out....
They are NOT numbered #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 from left to right as they are arranged at the back of the tractor. No,,,,that would have made too much sense.
They ARE numbered as follows....#1, #2, and #5 are on the LH bank as you look at them from left to right(standing in the drawbar area). The RH back are arranged as #3, #4, and #6 as you look at them from the drawbar area.
When you say the "screen shows them unlocked and working", I assume this is an Intelliview IV display(same as Pro700 on the red side) and that the bar graphs for the respective remotes are showing movement? If so, that should indicate the EHR levers are calibrated.
I suppose the remotes could have been reassigned by somebody that didn't know what they were doing and got the renumbered improperly.
Could be pilot head issues, but that many remotes not working make this highly unlikely. | |
