Subject: RE: Sleep apnea implant

Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

Tomcat - 6/23/2022 08:15 Had a sleep study done 6-7 years ago and shocker I failed. I do think I have some sleep apnea but not major. The “sleep specialist” that did it was I’d say a quack. I got fitted with a cpap and the specialist could never get it to stop leaking. Both wife and slept worse with me wearing it. It was like having a leaking tire strapped to your face. Fast forward to a year ago local radio station started running ads for the Inspire implant. I’ve been badgering my family Dr for a referral and I think she’s finally seeing where I’m coming from. What’s Agtalk’s review on these?

Maybe it's changed now, but when I was curious and bored one time I looked it up and they do not recommend the Inspire for those that do heavy physical work or activity.
