Central Il Morton

sparkiefarmer - 6/23/2022 03:24 Every time someone from an I state posts about high land values I laugh. We've blown way past the 20k mark on this lousy 2550 heat unit dirt and people are buying like mad. I state land is WAAAAAY better value. To the point that I gotta wonder why I'm beating my head against the wall here. When I could sell an acre here and buy 1.5 and grow 200+ corn consistently and stop growing poverty grass for rotation.

How would that work?  Would you owe Can.taxes first then buy us ground?
Or can you 1031 exchange across the border?
Just curious.

 Take care
