Airbar>Draper

Drapers are always compared to auger heads without air bars

I have a 3020 with an airbar and I can tell you I put more beans in the tank Vs the neighbors and their drapers. The fact they commented those very words is proof.

An airbar makes an auger head feed like a Draper and also blows in short and dry beans which a Draper alone can’t do.

I’ve got $25K in a mint 3020 with a new air bar and mint UT header cart.

A Draper set up the same way would be what $125K??? Head cart and bar??

I’ll keep my $100K and more beans and not be cool.

Draper with airbar > anything. I’ve got a cool $30k into a fd70 with a brand new AWS air bar and slow speed transport. Pays great on edible beans, combine and header are under 50lb/ac loss most of the time. Soybeans is well under 1bu.

One year I was picking (keeping??) up $1800 per LOAD with my Draper/airbar compared to the other combine. We parked the 2nd combine. 10 loads, $18k I got to keep in my pocket vs giving to the elevator as splits.
