 That would be my guess Mike, but i might be wrong.



Wonder if adding cover crops could have a similar effect on K availability.

 I don't know for sure, but what happened last year makes me think that might be the case. Have a field that in the past that had signs of potassium deficiency both in corn and soybeans in spots. But last year there was no signs in the corn in those spots, the main difference was the corn was planted green into a cereal rye cover crop last year.
