From time to time somebody complains about not being able to see and article because of all the pop up ads. If you wisely use Firefox or Chrome as your browser (that's the thing that lets you see this page and all the other stuff on the Internet) then get the AdBlockPlus extension and install it. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=adblock+plus Some sites won't let you see anything until you disable your blocker but ABP when you click on it will let you disable just on the page and when you refresh the ads will be there but ABP will still work on all other pages. I also use Cookie editor so that those pages that want to dump a cookie to follow you their cookies can be erased. https://cookie-editor.cgagnier.ca/ Utilization of these two greatly reduces pop ups of all kinds and stops a ton of those things that follow you. Alternately you could download and use Brave, it blocks ads and when you close it it deletes cookies. If you use it on NAT you'll have to log in each time. I use Firefox for NAT and a few other sites then switch to Brave for other browsing.
