The current free AVG anti virus (v. 7.1.xxx) will not be updated to 7.5 by using the auto-update function. You have to go to the Grisoft website, download the new version and start the installation. When the installation askes what kind of install you want, choose 'Repair' - that will install the new version, overwriting the existing install and copy your settings.
