A wet June doesn't promote root growth in corn, which can lead to problems if July/August get hoy and dry or you face a wind storm.

A dry June will scare you because of the risk of prolonged drought ruining the crop year, but can be beneficial if the weather turns and you start getting timely rain in July & August.
