Galahad, Alberta | We have a little cabin at a nearby lake, and the previous owner warped the vinyl siding by having a hot BBQ too close. It's always bothered me, and when I found some leftover pieces in the rafters I decided to replace the warped stuff. After I got the new panels in place I realized that the original vinyl (about 10 years old) was quite faded compared to the replacement pieces. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to "age" vinyl siding? I wondered what gas or diesel might do? I do have some scraps to experiment on first.
