far south central iowa | Just double checking my planter settings before I start planting tomorrow. I have the 30 cell red milo plates for my 12/23 kinze. I'm wanting to plant between 100-105k. The book doesn't have any settings for 15 inch rows with the 30 cell plate. So I set it off the 30 inch row settings with the 19 and 23 which gives me 55,000. That should get me the 15 inch row pop I'm looking for if I'm doing my math right.
Also, after tomorrow, forecast looks hot and dry for awhile. Am planning on running verdict, outlook, and atrazine behind the planter. Have thought about throwing 3 Oz of generic callisto in with it incase any weeds pop up before I get a rain hoping it'll have some reach back to bring them down. This is mostly heavy bottom ground. Some things I read say callisto needs sprayed 7 days before planting, other people I talk to say there's no issues spraying it pre. What's your thoughts. Thanks for any help
