southern MN | My 15 acres of cover crop experiment looked worse than that last year, then we had a very rare dry May here and by the time o got the covers actually killed it was too dry for the corn to grow. Live and learn.
Usually not an issue we are usually too wet, but I learned a dry spring you have to do different here.
If you keep enough moisture for the corn to grow it will outgrow the cover without too much issue.
