Memory is kinda short, but seems I had to change the shifting fork lever also and had to be very careful not to let the shifting fork fall down into the 3rd member which would have required to remove the 3rd member out. I was lucky I guess. Got rid of the vacuum lines and replaced with electrical wiring and that switch and never looked back.
