WeatherBug - 6/7/2022 08:33 That's an interesting finishing tool. I've never seen anything like it. I'd like to see a before and after of the soil.

The packer harrow bar was very popular for those that didn't have a press drill or an air drill with on row packers. My air seeder does not have packers. It also leaves the ground quite rough and ridgy so the harrowing is an essential part of my operation. I was lucky to have helpers do a lot of the harrowing but this last field I finished up myself. Its nice work just driving around and round or back and forth. No lifting or depth control necessary. The tines and packers really help to smooth out the surface. Field looks like a garden patch after.
