Back In KS | We’ve bought a pen of heifers advertised as being 5 months bred and supposed to have been verified bred at some point within 30 days prior to the sale, with a guarantee to remain bred for 30 days after the sale.
Will blood testing them ahead of that 30 day deadline give us confidence they haven’t slipped the calf since the previous check or would the signal protein still potentially be present in their bloodstream regardless?
Not opposed to having them sleeved, just trying to avoid the hassle if we’ve got other options.
TIA
