swmn | Yes, the autosense will work with the Pro700. You'll need to run a new cable from the front axle into the cab and pin it into the Nav controller directly. You'll also need to change some TAP parameters using AP Toolbox. Your dealer can look up the TAP parameters, there is a knowledge article on it that they can reference.
Based on what you're saying, I think there is a good chance that the litte shaft that the steering angle sensor is attached to is either turning in the kingpin or broken off. I've seen this a few times in the past and when that shaft breaks your steering sensor no longer reads correctly and can cause all sorts of crazy things when you engage guidance. If the shaft is broken or seized up you may end up pulling the entire front planetary off to fix it. If it comes to that and you aren't using the steering sensor for auto difflock , I'd just put on the autosense. | |
