| Doing some thinking and planning for next year and I’d like to look into having near perfect guidance in our planting tractor. We are on 20 inch rows with some steep hills and contours. Currently we have an InCommand 1200 with a 7500 gps in a steer ready tractor. Would upgrading to RTK alone get it to near perfect or is it possible to run a second GPS on the planter to accommodate for the planter drift? Another issue is with our hills we don’t have any cell phone reception in places so I’m not sure if the RTK would work well? Thanks for the help. | |
