Ethridge, TN | Have lost count as to how many of those factory junk hoses I've now replaced on the MX285. Currently, the tractor is in having yet "another" CAPS pump put on it. I "think" this makes either number 5, or could be 6, loosing count on that also. Covered the pump under warranty, but complained alot, and said this would probably be the last time. Told them yep, it'll probably be the last time, at least while we own it. Have 2 JD8430's running this year, and that MX is on borrowed time of remaining around here any longer. Fuel pump, leaking hydraulic hoses, that just spring pin hole leaks thru them, and so many electrical problems that it gives me nightmares to just think about it.
When it works, it's not a bad tractor, but the key point is, "When" it works. | |
