| 5240 will only run in first gear in each range. Shift into 2, 3, or 4 and the tractor stops and transmission light comes on. Code flashes 3 times, which in operator manual says temperature sensor circuit has failed open or shorted to ground. This tractor is new to me and I am not familiar with it. IS this a simple fix or going to require dealer service. Any pointers? Is it as simple as replacing a sensor? Where is the sensor located? Thanks.
