Ellsworth IL | The guys that took over when my old boss retired run mini moldboards on their plows, I don't like how they leave the ground looking but it does seem to blow less than when we used conventional moldboards.
If it is dry,conventional moldboards, leeave this dirt flat, almost seedbed ready, the minis leave it rough.
In the spring as soon as it's fit they go out and level the ground with field cultivators, apply NH3, then hit it again with the FC in front of the planter, the same program we used with conventional moldboards. | |
