Just bought a Brandt. No experience. Had a Westfield for 12 seasons. Not a lot of trouble. Two lower bearings and the CV joint rebuilt in that time. Gearboxes in the augers I looked at are all made in China, so anyone could have those issues. I felt that was a common weak spot and canceled out. Flaman has a 13X70 Wheatheart at $18900 with hyd winch and hyd swing mover. We paid about the same with a remote controlled electric swing mover on the Brandt. The HP is about $5000 more and needs 140hp for 50% more capacity. I like the gearbox idea with reverser, no chain.
