I did it by train from Winnipeg to Vancouver, then to Seattle and back to Fargo in 7 days last year. Didn't stop along the long rides though. Had a day and a half in Vancouver and two days in Seattle. Would work driving without three shifts of drivers. I could tell by the whistle styles that we had several shifts of train drivers each way.
