The only thing that could leak oil into the belt housing would be the transmission seal or the crank seal on the engine (more likely), not very common problem. As far as warranty I think your on your own, factory warranty is only 6 months. Shouldn't be too expensive to fix, assuming you can just pop in a new seal.
