I would stay with W10, we just bought 2 laptops, specified Windows 10.  I had one that had Windows 10 and it
automatically downloaded Win 11, no stopping it.  I returned it, in the short time I had Win 11 up, it is different,
hard to load a start page with favorites, etc.
We still have 2 Windows 7 laptops with Qucikbooks on both, for ease of use and convenience.
Make sure you check the specs. some PC laptops do not have a touch screen, I use a mouse, but a touch screen is
needed, imho.
