Subject: RE: stalk roll replacements on a deere corn head

South Dakota
Jim like your thoughts we seen that in a field that we no tilled this spring one combine was a CIH 1083 head and the other was a Gleaner with an older black head. The CIH stocks were chewed up  and the old Gleaner stocks were standing  but were crushed and much nicer to plant in. thought we wanted a new head but after seeing that the old one will be around for some time.
