Subject: Kinze bean meters on newer JD planters

West Central Iowa
Have been running the Kinze brush meters on a 7000 JD since they became available. Looking at newer JD finger pickup planters like the 1760's and 1770's it looks like only the JD radial bean meters work on them. In the SI Distributing catalog they show an adapter to use the Kinze meters on a 7200 but nothing else. Is there any way to use the Kinze meters on say a 1770? Talking to a few neighbors about their JD radial meters, some like them some don't. The Kinze units have always worked well for us and I don't think I have ever heard anyone not like them. I guess the easiest solution is a Kinze planter or a 7200. We also just updated to new precision planting corn meters and would run into the same problems with them fitting the newer boxes and drives. Any thoughts?
