Subject: Home machinery (Dehumidifier)

Having trouble with my maytag dehumidifier... The fan runs fine but the compressor won't kick in I've got it torn part and done some playing around with jumper wires trying to get the compressor to kick in but I'm stuck any suggestions. It's only like 2 years old!!
