| I bought two Banjo brand 2" poly pumps a few years ago for about 200$ each. They have an "economy" made in china engine, so I bought one to use and one for a spare in case it died. Well, I've used them both for about 4 years and they are great!
The Chinese engine always starts on the first pull and runs better than any Briggs or Honda that I've ever seen.
It's not worth fixing a 9 year old pump!
