Iowa | For those of you than have operated rolling stalk choppers, how much soil do they move? Looking at the pictures on Besler's website, it appears that they do a fair amount of surface disturbance. However, it doesn't look like the pictures were taken in fields with high residue levels.

What I'm thinking about is the feasibility of using a row unit similar to that of a rolling stalk chopper and using it for cultivating organic corn. | |
