Subject: RE: Hydraulic Cyl Rebuild

West Tennessee
We have always been brave (dumb) enough to just buy the seal kits and fix them ourselves. On our 3630 we've repacked most of the cylinders once. They have all held up just fine. I agree on what the other poster said about possible contamination in the hydraulic system. Had that coupe set up for a while when you bought it? Wondering if that could be a problem. We had a marker cylinder that had been outside at the dealership for several years. It's given us a lot of grief this year. At least you haven't had the bad luck we've had with our coupe this year. "Somehow" lost the water out suddenly and ate a piston and the cylinder head. Just got it back this weekend. Have a good one.
