Hoffman, IL | The oil pressure light should not go on unless the clutch is down. Now with that being said it can go on some times at lower rpms. It may be a sign of a weak Mcv Hyd pump. You may need to check the hyd pump pressure on the MCV. Have you checked the filter? I doubt if this is the problem but you never know. The psi that puts this light on is the lube psi which is only like 18 psi.
