Central Nebraska | The best thing about GMail is how intuitive and hands off it is. To my knowledge there is no difference between junk and spam. Granted, I've been using it for 15 years so I'm sure it has learned a little about me and what is junk and what isn't, but I rarely have to flag something as Spam. I also rarely have something flagged as spam that isn't. Only a handful of times per year. If I were you I would open a gmail account and then learn or have someone help setup that account so that it automatically checks pulls all the email out of your existing account. I have several other accounts I haven't logged into for years but still get every message that comes to them........and most of those I never see because they go to the spam folder. You may have some potential frustrations transferring your address book and any messages you have saved with your current platform but I can guarantee you that you will have better filtering. |
